How many of you would be interested in a Brown Coat Social in San Francisco, a full evening of music with the stars of Serenity?
What do you think would be a good entrance price?
If you could only choose 3 stars from Firefly, who would you like to see at this type of event?

Re: Questions
Wed, February 6, 2008 - 3:26 PMBetween $20 and $30 would probably be appropriate.
Nathan Fillion, Morena Baccarin, and Adam Baldwin.

Re: Questions
Wed, February 6, 2008 - 3:54 PMAlan Tudyk is a blast to be around. Him and Nathan in a room would be quite a scene to watch I would gander. -

I'm with you. In fact, I can't believe that anyone *wouldn't* have him on their list.

Re: Questions
Wed, February 6, 2008 - 6:02 PMI'd be way interested. I'd pay around thirty dollars, and want to see Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin. The third spot I'm not particular about -- maybe Jewel Staite or Gina Torres.

Re: Questions
Wed, February 6, 2008 - 7:32 PMI'd go. $30 seems to be fair. Anyone is fine with me, but Gina Torres is at the top of my list. -

Re: Questions
Thu, February 7, 2008 - 3:19 AMI love Nathan's acting style
Anyone catch him in Slither?
Other than Serenity/Firefly it's my fave role of his.

Re: Questions
Thu, February 7, 2008 - 7:47 AMI'd pay 30 bucks and I don't care which of the cast would be there. I would love to see any of them but since you asked for 3, I'd say Nathan, Alan and Morena.

Re: Questions
Thu, February 7, 2008 - 9:06 AMIs this proto-Shindig pie in the sky, or do you actually have a line on pulling something together? Enquiring minds and all that.
Nathan, Adam and Summer were at SF Wondercon a couple years back (with Joss), and it made for a hilarious match-up. -

Thu, February 7, 2008 - 9:31 AMoh, yeah, joss should be there! he's every bit as fascinating as the actors!

Re: Questions
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 1:37 PMJewel Staite and Gina Torres for sure, but it'd be a toss up between Nathan and Alan... Both sound like a blast.
If we're talking a quiet little social event, make that third Ron Glass...I'd like to talk with him. Fascinating man! -

Absolutely!
I think it is a safe bet that Mr Glass has done more work than the entire cast of FireFly combined.

I was extremely pleased to see him show up in the FireFly series. I must admit, it was kind of odd seeing him in this sci-fi niche – at first. But it was no surprise to see him “own” the role and become a favorite crew member.
I bet this guy could tell some incredible stories about many, many people in the biz (great and small; legends – past and present).
I remember him best (Firefly not with-standing) in Barney Miller from the 70s. He did some fairly ground-breaking performances as a black police detective (thanks Captain for reminding me to revisit RG). -

Re: Questions
Thu, March 13, 2008 - 12:14 AMNo prob, Will. I think I'd like to talk with him about the influences of Buddhism in his role as Shepherd Book. He's got such a great speaking voice, too. It'd make dinner conversation fulfilling.

Re: Questions
Sun, February 24, 2008 - 4:42 PMHi, Craig!
I'm a different Craig. But, please include me! San Francisco is only 6 hours away. I would gladly drive there to have a real shindig. (I've been trying to organize one here in Arcata.)
I have no preference for Firefly stars. Anyone would be wonderful!
