Movies/TV with Cast and Crew of Firefly

I just saw a great little british film called "Death at a funeral" it has Wash in it. Thought I might share some (and allow others to be shared with me) that I enjoyed

Wash
- Strangers with candy the 2 part cult episode
- Death at a Funeral

Mal
- Buffy Season 7 (the preacher)
- Waitress (not completely awful)
- Slither (loved it)
- Drive (prematurely cancelled)

Zoe
- Matrix 2
- Hercules (she was a pirate)
- Cleopatra 2525 (she plays basically the same role in this)

River
- Terminator - the sarah connor chronicals (very good so far)

anyone else care to share?

        Wash was apprently the voice of Sonny (Sunny?) in "I, Robot".
        He also had a small part in "Knocked Up".

        Nathan Fillion is also apprently now on "Desperate Housewives" (???)

          He wasn't just the voice of Sonny, he did the physical movements too (motion-track/greenscreen). If you notice his body is a lot better in Serentiy than it was during Firefly. This is because when he got the part in I, Robot he realized he was going to have to wear the bodysuit which is completely form-fitting, and didn't want to walk around all day in it all flabby-and squishy. So he worked out and toned up for a part in which the audience never actually sees him. It's nice to see that he kept it up.

    I remember seeing Adam Baldwin/Jayne is the movie My Bodyguard in 79?

      I just watched Death at a Funeral this morning, and OH MY GOD, it's HYSTERICAL!! I was watching it on the bus (I *love* my iPhone), and I was laughing my ass off the whole time. The other passengers kept looking at me like I was insane (fair enough). And Alan Tudyk's scenes were *by far* the funniest! They *totally* milked his talents in this movie. *No one* could have played that role as well as he did.

      If you haven't seen it, SEE IT!

    Gina Torres (Zoe) was in another cancled Fox show called "Standoff" (and I watched all 18 episodes of it).
    She was also in an episode of one of my favorite shows, "Boston Legal" She played a district attorney.
    She was also in a few episodes of '24' a few years ago (2004 I think).
    And others have already mentioned "Cleopatra 2525" and "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys"
    And I believe she has been in an episode of a new ABC show called "Dirty Sexy Money", but I have not seen it.

    Gina Torres had a recurring role on Alias. Always much kick a$$ery when she was on. Amy Acker from Angel was in Season 5 too.

    Sean Maher was in Wedding Wars, a made-for-tv movie in which he plays a lawyer who is John Stamos's boyfriend. I think he showed up in an episode of Ghost Whisperer.

    Jewel Staite's appearance on Dead Like Me was great. She played a goth chick working in a record store. As a kid, I saw her in "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" when she was also a kid. (Canadian show that was kinda like Goosebumps)

    Nathan Fillion....first time I saw him was in Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place. Saw him in Outing Riley last weekend. He plays a character doing what he does best, wise-cracking :) Oh yeah, my sister was watching Blast From the Past and told me to watch for Nathan getting punched in the face by Brendan Fraser (Yay two Canadian boys! lol)

    Got suprised watching NCIS when Adam Baldwin showed up, and then later in the episode so did Julie Benz (Darla from Buffy/Angel) He makes a great military officer.

    Alan Tudyk was one of the only good things in 28 Days. "Look at my package!"

    I think I remember seeing a commerical for The Unit with Summer Glau in it.
